My Views on Texting
I see
texting as a way of notifying someone, like a reminder, a note. I don't see
texting as a substitute for talking.
Some may argue that they feel it is easier to text than to talk. I can
see that, maybe for shy people. Although, some people go overboard with it.
They feel the need to constantly be in touch with someone, and it sometimes
causes problems. Like texting in class, or texting while driving. One not as
serious as the other, texting while driving is the leading cause of car crashes
these days. Texting in class is still disruptive to both the people texting as
well as those around them. I remember being in a class and this girl couldn't
stop laughing, and it was very disruptive. I don't text often on my phone. When
I do, it's usually to ask my brother a question about a game.
However,
texting can be about the same as typing on the computer. I myself find that I'm
on the computer frequently and enjoy talking to my friends over the computer. I
guess it's all perspective. All in all, people should have some control on
their texting so that it doesn't harm, or bother others.
I use to have the same problem with people laugh in class or are making noises with there while they text. It is so irritatting!
ReplyDeleteAs a gamer myself I completely agree, it is a point of perspective, but none the less people do need to get control of how much they text haha.
ReplyDeletevery well said.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree some go over board with texting, especially while trying to watch a movie at the theater.
ReplyDeleteTrue enough! People should know when to text. Texting can be a nuisance to others so we should be all aware of our surroundings.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, well said.
