Past, Present and Future
I come from
a family of four. It’s my mom and her three boys. I am the middle child of
three boys, Mark the oldest and Matt the youngest. Like a lot of children, I loved
to play outdoors with my friends. I loved playing sports with my friends; it
mainly consisted of basketball and soccer. My brothers weren’t really outdoor
kids, especially Matt. Matt and I are about a year apart, so were pretty close.
He was really into video games just like Mark was. About the time middle
school, I started to dab a little into gaming myself. This made my brothers and
me a lot closer.
Now I am a
full-fledged gamer. It is a major hobby of mine. Games to me are like a really
good book. The story can be so amazing you really feel part of the action. My
current favorite series is the Mass Effect series. I am still with my mom and
my brothers. We now have 2 additions to it. We got a dog and a cat now. Our dog
we got from a litter of one of my mom’s relatives. We named her Sunny D, and
yes, like the drink. Then around Thanksgiving of 2011, a stray cat was hanging
around our house. This cat would meow at the door at just about every night. My
mom really didn’t know what to do with it. It wasn’t a skittish cat at all, it
was very friendly, and would allow you to pet it. My mom started to leave food
out for it. Come May of 2012, this cat is still a round and its starting to
rain. It was then when my mom finally decided to keep this cat and got him checked
out, and added him into our family. I would say he doesn’t really have an
official name yet, we just call him Kiki, I assume he’ll get one eventually.
I am
currently going to college at Oxnard Community College. My major is still
undecided. It is really hard for me to set on something I want to be. I’m the
kind of guy that lives in the moment. As for my future, there are some missing
pieces I’m still looking to fill the blanks, I can see myself with wife and
kids but I just don’t know anything else. For me, the destination is clear, but
the journey is still not clear, but hopefully I can pull some idea out of this
college life and head onward.
