Blog #8

As a gamer, one dilemma is that are you a PC gamer or a console gamer. I grew up a console gamer so my opinion would be towards console gamer. I like the feel of the controller in your hand and I have a decent size television so the console feel is great. I am now starting to play some games on the PC and at first I didn't care for it one bit, it's so weird playing some games with a keyboard and mouse. However, I can see the pros and cons of both parties. For me, my Xbox still has only a 15 gigabyte memory so as a gamer that's not a lot of memory for all my games and the PC has enough for all that with more to spare. Most PC games can be cheaper by buying digital copies instead of physical copies. Some games are better on the PC because the online features get updated more currently then consoles, and sometimes you need more keys or buttons then a controller can provide. Also PC has graphics over consoles. Although I don't judge games on their graphics it's a nice bonus. I think eventually, I may become a PC gamer, it is very possible. My brother has already made the change over, but I am in no rush. My brother always wants me to buy my games for the PC instead of consoles but I have many friends who don't have capable PCs to make this jump with me and to me, games are all about playing with your friends and I do that with my console.
